Desiree Marie Bedasa

Desiree Marie Bedasa is an associate attorney with Angela Faye Brown & Associates, PLLC. Desiree possesses nearly 6 years of experience in working with and legally representing youth.

Prior to working for Angela Faye Brown & Associates, PLLC, Desiree interned at several law firms including Haddad Legal Group, Husch Blackwell, and Eichelbaum Wardell practicing family law, litigation, and school law. In addition, Desiree is a Teach For America Alum, having taught Special Education at George E. Kelly Elementary in San Antonio, Texas where she started the school's first Student Council. When Desiree is not working, she volunteers her time as a Guardian Ad Litem through CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children) in Travis County where she advocates for abused and neglected children.

These experiences, along with Desiree's own personal experiences growing up, inspired her to advocate for those who are unable to advocate for themselves-children. As an individual who did not experience a "traditional" upbringing, Desiree knows what it can be like to be caught in the middle of a custody battle and is dedicated to assisting families with children determine what is in the best interest of the child. She currently helps families with divorce, custody, visitation, enforcement of custody and visitation, and adoptions.

Desiree is originally from San Antonio, Texas, but has lived in Austin, on and off, for the past 10 years. She comes from a blended family and tries to visit her parents and siblings as often as possible. Desiree is close to her family members and enjoys when everyone comes together for holidays, birthdays, and family barbeques. She especially enjoys spending time with her many nieces and nephews.

In her free time, Desiree enjoys watching true crime shows, reading novels through her monthly book club, watching movies with her husband , and spending time with her furry friend, Gotti. In addition, Desiree loves to travel. She has been to Spain, London, France, the Bahamas, Mexico, and several cities within the U.S.
