All applicants must submit a 2-3-minute video discussing the following issue:
Prior to ordering a man to pay child support, the Child Support Division of the Office of the Attorney General gives men the opportunity to take a DNA test to verify that they are the father of the child, although not all men elect to have a DNA test completed. Some of those men who chose not to have a DNA test done, later discover that the woman committed paternity fraud and need our help to remedy the situation. Unfortunately, by time our firm gets involved, the damage to the family has already been done.
There are some people who believe paternity test should be required prior to a father’s name being listed on the birth certificate, and there are others who are strongly opposed to this idea. Do you think paternity tests should be mandatory at the moment a child is born? Why or why not?
VIDEOS MUST BE SUBMITTED BY 11:59 P.M. CST ON AUGUST 31ST.
Once the application period closes, Angela Faye Brown & Associates will review all submissions and select 5 finalists by September 7th based on the following factors:
The 5 finalists will have their video posted on Angela Faye Brown & Associate’s Facebook page to be voted on by our followers, September 7th-13th at midnight. The video with the most votes will win the contest. Winners will be selected by September 14th of each year.
The winners of the Angela Faye Brown Video Contest will be awarded a check from the law firm of Angela Faye Brown & Associates. The award money must be used to pay for educated related expenses and will be paid directly to the school.
